Open Press Collection

In the beginning of 2019 we hosted an open call where people with a 3D-printed press were able to send in their tiny artworks. More than 100 artists from all over the world participated and submitted more than 250 prints, which we showed in an exhibition at Kölner Graphikwerkstatt starting on May 15th 2019.

It was fantastic to see how diverse the prints were. Artwork from professional printmakers were hanging right next to the very first prints of children. 

Later that year we were also able to show the collection at the LVR-Industriemuseum Papiermühle Alte Dombach in combination with a workshop where 24 children learned how to use the press to make prints.
